The Witches are Out

Gardner Village is always super busy and crowded in October, but that doesn't stop us from going to see the witches. Each year they decorate the village with fun witches and tons of pumpkins- the first picture is our favorite witch.
Nate wanted to join me in this picture. If you can't tell it says;
"You call me a witch like it's a bad thing"

It wouldn't be right to go to Gardner Village without a horsey ride.

Robby Kickin' Butt

Here is the story....

Last Friday I receive a phone call at work and it went like this...

Robby: "Can you take next Wednesday off?"
Me:" How come?"
Robby: " I got an e-mail saying I got an award and I need to get it on Wednesday morning. I think it was for my physical fitness test I took."
---
So Robby being Robby, didn't make much of a fuss about it but I took today off so Robby could go pick up his certificate in the morning and no big deal right? WRONG! When Robby got home I was asking about how everything went this morning and turns out this is really a prestigious award to receive. You can only get it once in a life time. Here is what the certificate says-

" This achievement reflects professional dedication and commitment in maintaining the highest standards of performance.."

Robby took this optional physical fitness test because if you passed, you got a paid day off. He didn't just pass the physical test, he excelled in all 5 categories. He didn't even plan on trying to win an award!

I am extremely proud of Robby for all he has accomplished. Not only is he kickin' butt at his job, he is a wonderful daddy and husband as well. He will hate this entire post because he doesn't like to brag - so I do it for him.
Since I was not there to take pictures, I am posting a picture of Robby accepting the award he got when he graduated from the academy.

WAY TO GO BOB!

Third Annual Pumpkin Pickin'

Since Robby was off today, and it was somewhat warm ( not snowing like yesterday) we headed out to the local pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins and have some quality family time!

The tractors...

I love that Nate picks the smallest mower for him and Dad to sit on together.
looking for the perfect one...

Can you guess who's is who's?
Robby's of course is the biggest (fits him well)
Gavin's the smallest with the little stem.
Me and Nate's are about the same.

This year the patch had a corn maze, Nate did a great job leading us!

How could you not trust this face?

I just love it.

Sadly we have one more game of soccer and the season is over! For all of you who said you wanted to come to a game, it's your last chance! If this picture won't get you there, I don't know what will!

I love his hair, and it's even better with a sweatband.
